Biography: Glanmire Precision operates a Light Engineering Workshop on the outskirts of Cork city. Our company has been training Apprentices since 1988 in the Craft of Mechanical Automation and Maintenance Fitting. We currently have a vacancy for a "part trained" apprentice to this trade where "part trained" will be considered to have reached at least Level 4 of that trade already and wishes to complete their learning and qualify as a Mechanical Fitter. We can provide training in all aspects of the trade including the particular skills of a Machininst/Toolmaker. A Candidate should be able to demonstrate good potential and interest in their chosen craft. *Have good interpersonal and team skills. *Be customer focused. *Be prepared to travel to other sites as reasonable required. Payment is in accordance with established rates for Apprentices.
